Step 4 I rendered and etched the rigging in the other ships. The sails and ships were carefully stippled as well. The value contrast of the vessels are now completed. I also added details, such as a few sailors in the flag ship. Step 5 The foreground and middleground of the sea were penciled in until it's structure looked convincing.
